Level 2: Advanced Infant Massage Therapy
Part 1 – Online (Zoom)
Expand your clinical knowledge by learning massage therapy techniques for infants with specific medical conditions and developmental concerns.
Part 2 – In-Person Practical
Develop advanced hands-on skills while practicing assessment and treatment techniques under the supervision of RMT Aurelia Vizitiu.
Prerequisites
Participants must have completed:
Level 1 (Part 1 & Part 2)
Be a healthcare professional or healthcare student
What You'll Learn Advanced assessment and massage techniques for infants with conditions including:
Birth trauma
Limb fractures
Infant hypotonia
Torticollis
Acute pneumonia
Developmental dysplasia of the hip (Coxofemoral Dysplasia)
Cerebral palsy
Premature infants
Clubfoot
Toe walking (Tiptoeing)
W-sitting
Additional course topics include:
Condition-specific massage techniques
Therapeutic exercises
Parent education and home-care recommendations
Clinical considerations for safe treatment
